About
Institut Monte Rosa is an independent international school for boys and girls of 8-19 years old, based in Territet near Montreux. It is one of the first established boarding schools in Switzerland (founded in 1874). With overall 80 students per year, the school offers a wide variety of academic programs in intensive language studies and general subject areas taught by passionate teachers in English in a family-like atmosphere.
The school motto is ‘Virtue through work’, which inspires the students to become better citizens and work as one big family during their stay in the school. Ethics, morals, values, and teamwork is encouraged to lead to a prosperous career choice and personal life.
Since 2021 the new Individualized Education Program – IEP is offered, providing children with extra attention and the ‘space to breathe’ that facilitates personal growth and help them achieve their goals.
