Chantemerle

Founded in 1966 by Mathilde and Jean Wegmüller, Chantemerle is a private school located in Blonay (Vaud). Chantemerle welcomes Swiss and international students ages 6 through 18 for school year programs, study abroad programs and educational summer or winter camps.

With a maximum capacity of 65 boarders and day students, the school is renowned for the quality of its teaching and its personalized family atmosphere. Beautifully located in the heart of nature, close to Geneva, Montreux and Lausanne, Chantemerle offers a healthy, safe and structured learning environment.

The purpose is to help every student to reach their potential through personal and academic success. Based on tradition and common sense the educational approach aims at transmitting strong values, a taste for effort and the pleasure of learning in a rigorous and caring environment.

Success in national and cantonal exams validates the teaching approach: success with language certifications, success with admission exams into secondary school and high school (public or private), as well as with the French Brevet des Collèges. Once in high school, the older students prepare with success for either the Swiss Matura, French Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate (IB), A-Levels, IGCSE.

Chantemerle promotes the personal development of all its students through a rich and varied programme of sports, artistic and cultural activities. Sport-Art-Studies program allows to combine an official academic program with high-level artistic or sports training in the best possible conditions.
