About
La Garenne School has been delivering exceptional education for over 75 years. This IB World School is owned and operated by the second generation of the Swiss Méan family and prides itself on its personal approach and individualised education for students from over 40 countries.
La Garenne is expanding to serve up to 180 boarding students ages 4 to 18 years. At capacity, the school will still be one of the smallest boarding schools in Switzerland whilst delivering the programme options typically found at larger schools.
La Garenne prides itself on its long and rich history as a bilingual place of learning. While the main language of academic subjects is English, we believe that language learning is vitally important and students are encouraged to develop a mastery of the French Language in addition to encouraging the study of a student’s native language.
