Formerly the location of an elegant Grand Hotel, Glion campus is today an internationally-renowned focal point for teaching hospitality’s practical arts. The campus is famed for its stunning views of Montreux, Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps. It also features its own fine dining restaurant, Maison Décotterd.

Glion is the flagship campus and practical learning center. From the classrooms and restaurants, you can gaze across the deep blue waters of Lake Geneva to see the Swiss and French Alps. It’s located on the mountainside above Montreux, a town that attracts tourists year-round with a beautiful lakeside and shopping district. The school’s buildings are nestled among the village of Glion, creating a small university town with breathtaking scenery.

Established in 1962 in the former Bellevue hotel, Glion campus can accommodate up to 350 students in various accommodation buildings. It encompasses 16 classrooms and study rooms with numerous state-of-the-art operational facilities.

With an on-site fitness and gymnasium, as well as activities like swimming, tennis, hiking, running, badminton, volleyball, yoga, Zumba, and many others, you will have limitless options for staying active during your studies.

At Glion, you will find Maison Décotterd which is composed of three outstanding places a stunning panoramic view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. It not only provides the public with quality dishes, but they will also offer our students vital hands-on training, all under the supervision of our team of culinary experts.

  • Restaurant Stéphane Décotterd

This gastronomic restaurant has been awarded 18 points by Gault Millau, the globally-recognized gastronomic guide. You will learn alongside professionals like Chef Stéphane Décotterd and Chef Christophe Loeffel (Awarded Best Pastry Chef in Switzerland for 2021 by Gault Millau).

  • The Bistro

This restaurant has a beautiful brasserie feeling. It follows the philosophy of Chef Stéphane Décotterd and has a nice family atmosphere. Students learn service and kitchen in different types of restaurants.

  • The Lounge Bar

In this magnificent bar with a perfect blend of modernity, chic and Belle-Epoque style, students learn from talented bartenders how to master cocktails and learn about wines.
