SHMS – Caux Campus

As a historic building, the Caux Palace offers an inspiring environment in which to study, steeped in the heritage of Swiss hospitality traditions. This unique campus offers modern facilities and is equipped with the latest technology to aid students in their studies. Caux is located in the french-speaking area of Switzerland and is an hour and twenty minutes from Geneva airport, easily accessible by car or train.

Meals. Full board is provided throughout the week and is included in the fees. Three meals are served from Monday to Friday with brunch and dinner on weekends. Students have the choice of eating in any of the food outlets on campus:

• Four Seasons. The main buffet restaurant on campus serves an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Le Caux Palace Restaurant. A traditional fine-dining restaurant from an a-la-carte menu for lunch and dinner. Students apply food and beverage theory they have learned and practice service skills in this restaurant.
• Coffee Beans Lounge Bar. Run by student in-house trainees, students can purchase a coffee, snacks or warm dishes from early morning until late in the evening.
• The Grotto. The students’ bar and night club, open until late on weekends.

Accommodation. All accommodation is designed to offer students the comfort and privacy needed for study or to simply relax. Bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortable; all are non-smoking. Accommodation is located in the main campus building and also in external buildings, all within walking distance.

Double Standard Room (included in the fees) has two single beds (double occupancy), desk and office chair, ample wardrobe and storage space, shared bathroom*, Wifi

* Some rooms may have private bathroom.
