About
Schwarzsee is located in bilingual Fribourg region. It is a small and remote mountain village in the Swiss countryside and is therefore extremely safe. The village and stunning mountains are centered around a small lake Der Schwarzsee (German for Black Lake), creating picturesque landscape.
The Schwarzsee summer camp is aimed at youngsters aged between 11 and 17 who enjoy the outdoors and the true feeling of being in a summer camp while improving either French or German language skills. Classes (20 morning lessons per week) are held in groups of 6 participants, providing individual attention and efficient learning environment. Teachers use modern methods, such as role play, theater, games and audio-visual tools to make the lessons more fun and interesting.
Activities include:
- Workshops. Two afternoons per week the students are offered the choice between the following activities: media, photography, sport, art, graffiti, dance, cooking & others.
- Excursions. Every Saturday and on two weekday afternoons there are excursions to nearby cities and landmarks.
- Evening program begins every weekday at 8pm and include karaoke, disco, movie night, casino night etc
The price includes: 15 hours of French or German lessons (in small groups of 6), 2 workshops, 3 excursions, an evening program, full-board accommodation, registration fees, airport transfer from/to Geneva Airport.
